WORK-TRAVEL BALANCE

Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal, white houses, red roots

It is over a month when I am trying to assimilate myself into this globalized society Portuguese people represent, and I need to admit that I still do not understand well the inflated role of English language in their life on a day-to-day basis. That month, besides of that, was a great turning point for me with respect to my PhD thesis. Unfortunately, it didn’t bring more free time; instead, it brought new assignments to deal with.

It is even becoming a routine that I catch myself on lamenting the woes of work I have to do.
But nobody said that it would be easy to blurred the line between work and travel.

One might say it is all a matter of balance, however, so often so hard to achieve.
