MONSARAZ | TRAVEL PHOTO DIARY

It was almost like an early afternoon in June in Poland: only some little clouds drifting across the sky and a genial warmth in the air touching my skin (It made me think, when I was writing this story, how some photos are far from the reality. Maybe it is a question of some camera options. Nevertheless, it was one of those days when you are enormously happy to have sunglasses in your bag and enjoy every, even little, wind blow). In the company of friends, I was strolling tiny streets of charming hilltop village named Monsaraz, lined with well-preserved buildings, what gave me a great opportunity to return to the ancient times to, at the end, be honored with the prize of stunning views from the 13th century castle walls at Alentejo region.

I couldn’t envisaged a better way of spending that day.
